If you haven’t see the Knit and Purl Tool (KaPT) before you are in for a real treat! Last November Kathy Carder and her husband Frank began producing and selling an ingenious tool to help speed up the process of knitting and purling on a loom. Since that time several design improvements have been added. Kathy has heart for giving so she approached me about desigining special tools to represent some of our favorite charities. I am thrilled to announce the release of the new KaPT Charity Edition tools and some other exciting additions to the KaPT line!

NEW KaPT Charity Edition Tools and Stitch Markers

KaPT cost: $28.00
$2.50 will go to the charity corresponding to the colors of the handle

The Knit and Purl tool comes in both a small and medium hook length with a molded resin handle. Each handle is made in colors to represent a specific charity. (see below)

Stitch Marker cost: 5 stitch markers for $12.00
$1.50 will go to the charity corresponding to the colors of the stitch markers

The stitch markers will have 3 with no dangles and 2 with dangles. They are made from metal and beads and in the same colors that the charity Knit and Purl Tool handles. The stitch markers with the dangles will have a ribbon with the word “Hope” on them.

Embrace Grace
Color: Green/pink

Embrace Grace is a charity that inspires the Church to love on single and pregnant young women and their families. They have ignited a pro-love movement across the nation, making the Church a safe place for single moms to run to when they find out he they are pregnant, instead of the last place they are welcomed because of shame and guilt. National Breast Cancer Foundation
Color: Pink

National Breast Cancer Foundation is recognized as one of the leading breast cancer organizations in the world. The NBCF is helping women now by providing early detection, education and support services to those affected by breast cancer. The NBCF is a recipient of Charity Navigator’s highest 4-star rating for 12 years. NBCF provides support through their National Mammography Program, Patient Navigation and Beyond The Sock. Color – orange

A21 is a non-profit organization fueled by the radical hope-that human beings everywhere will be rescued from bondage and completely restored. Soi Dog
Color: Purple

The team of Soi Dog are fighting relentlessly to end all butchering and consumption of dog meat. One of the biggest challenges is raising awareness of the plight of street dogs and cats, many were stolen family pets, in Asia and to bring the horrors of the dog meat trade to more people, who have no knowledge that this is even going on. Soi Dog receives no Government support and rely totally on people for funding their work. Over 90% of all donations Soi Dog receives go directly to the animal welfare program. Non-charity KaPT and Stitch Markers

The KaPT is also available in solid blue, red, yellow and green. These are non-charity related so no money will be donated to a charity. Cost: $28
Stitch markers are available in a variety of colors. They will be sold in a bundle of 5 with 3 having no dangles and two will have dangles. Cost: 5 for $12

Giant Knitting Needles

Giant knitting needle are exactly that, giant the are 40 1/2″ in height and 4 3/4″ in width and yes, you can knit with them using extremely bulky yarns. I would recommend to have a large area to
work in with. Cost: $60

Assorted Goodies

Assorted Goodies are just cute little ornaments made in the shapes of flowers, candies and butterflies, etc. They are in assorted colors. Cost: 4 for $5.00.
