Superhero Cape, Hat and Booties

Loom Knit Superman Cape, Hat and Booties

I enjoy making baby gifts they are one of a kind and usually quick and easy.  I learned to loom knit about 10 years ago at a Michaels craft store. I have always loved needle crafts but my hands didn’t allow me to do it well, I have a bit of arthritis. I’ve taught about 50+ people how to loom knit I love sharing this simple and quick craft.     I wanted to share a little bit of why I chose superman. Little Sebastian Steele is my husband’s cousins son. He is the baby of 4 boys, his parents have been through a bit his momma had several miscarriages and they had a little girl 2 years ago that was stillborn. He was anxious to get here and sent her to the hospital a few times. A couple weeks before he was born his momma’s Dad died. Then when it was time his little lungs started to give out and he was put on a vent. But he is doing great now so needless to say we think he’s Superman. I planned the Superman theme for his gift months ago and funny his parents named him with the middle name Steele, for man of steel. – Jill Huffman
