Easy Needle Knit C2C Eyelet Square!

Easy Needle Knit C2C Eyelet Square!

Inside: Full pattern for the needle knit C2C Eyelet Square including row instructions and links to fully captioned tutorial videos for left and right handed knitters.

This light and lacy C2C Eyelet Square adds a decorative design to the classic Grandma’s Favorite Dishcloth pattern.  This easy corner to corner knit pattern features a garter border with evenly spaced eyelets throughout the stockinette center.

I designed this square to use as part of another project, but you can easily customize the size to fit your needs. Use dishcloth cotton to make a beautiful washcloth for a spa gift, or make a chunky decorative throw for your couch. You can also include these squares in a pieced afghan.

This pattern includes detailed written instructions and links to fully captioned tutorial videos for both right and left handed knitters.

NOTES

Longtail cast on is recommended.

This square is smaller in size than a standard dishcloth because it is intended to be used as part of another design.  If you would like to make a larger square, simply continue the 4-row repeat (Rows 19-22*) until you reach your desired size. *In Row 19 continue to rep from * to last 5 sts then K5. Rows 20-22 are worked as written.

INSTRUCTIONS

Cast on 3 sts.
